Waste Management

As Gardeen Group, we are proud to manage comprehensive waste collection and disposal projects across the Sharazoor and Garmian zones, serving a total of 20 municipalities: 8 in Sharazoor and 12 in Garmian.

These projects, carried out under a contractual agreement with the Kurdistan Regional Government, involve the collection and disposal of over 450 tons of waste daily in an environmentally responsible manner. The process is supervised by environmental experts to ensure it adheres to international health and safety standards, minimizing ecological impact.

With an annual budget of 42 billion Iraqi dinars, the project is managed by a dedicated team of 900 employees, supported by a skilled management team and a fleet of over 131 modern machines and vehicles. Gardeen Group’s commitment to sustainability and innovation ensures efficient operations that enhance public health, improve living conditions, and support a cleaner environment for the communities we serve.

Expanding our commitment to public health and environmental sustainability, Gardeen Group has also commenced waste collection operations in Kirkuk city as of February 2025. This new initiative operates with an annual budget of 22 billion Iraqi dinars and is supported by 1,300 workers and staff alongside a fleet of 267 specialized vehicles to ensure efficient waste management.
